BTW, imagine my surprise, as a long time Google Suite user, when I discovered that Google was uploading and archiving every single photo I ever took with my Android phone. This after two years. No one asked. Google only (and automatically) matched my e-post address to my Google Suites account and just started uploading. Every. Unmarried. Photo.
Fortunately, I'm not the kind of guy who uses his prison cell phone to take potentially embarrassing or actionable photos, but even so I was pretty unnerved. Flickr's behavior is pretty tame by comparing, since in Flickr's case you actually gave to install an app.

Thanks for the quick responses. I have tried to find the auto-uploader on my iphone and laptop. simply cannot locate the identify to toggle the role. Tin can't find settings for this anywhere. maybe i'm missing something.....
could someone explicate exactly where I tin notice it?

Is this because I have obsolete iphone? Has latest ios upgrade.

What version of the app practise yous have? Did you ever accept the automobile uploader turned on in the past? I'm no expert but it sounds similar you're stuck in a weird spot where the auto uploader is somehow notwithstanding performance on your telephone even though information technology is hidden from you and information technology should non be working.
Before following my proffer below delight check with Flickr Back up using the Help link at the bottom of the folio.
The showtime thing I would try is to delete and reinstall the app. The App Shop says the app should work on iOS 9.3.3 and college. The iPhone 5 will work upward to iOS ten.3.3, so you should be able to install the latest version of the Flickr app (iv.11.5).
In theory that should clear out the former lawmaking and install new lawmaking, which would eliminate the automobile uploader. Like I said, check with Flickr start. Let them know your phone model, iOS version and version of the app you lot are running.
